Renée Guay (Reina) knows what it's like to stand at the edge of visibility, feeling the pull to share your gifts but not quite ready to step forward.
She's been performing and facilitating for well over a decade—aerial arts, fire dance, ritual performance at festivals across the world. She's led transformational workshops, created embodiment experiences, and held space for hundreds of women to step into their power.
But it wasn't always easy. She's navigated her own journey from playing small to performing on big stages, from self-doubt to confident expression, from giving her energy away to stepping fully into her leadership.
As the founder of Higher Flow and creator of MAGNETIC for embodied feminine leaders, Renée has guided hundreds of women to move from disconnection and people-pleasing to embodied, confident expression of their sacred work.
She's the co-creator of Sovereign Goddess Gathering—a 4-day festival in Lake Tahoe that brought together 300+ women for embodiment, performance, and celebration. She's also trained in the Temple Body Arts lineage (500+ hours), diving deep into the feminine mysteries & cycles, womb wisdom, and living your artistry that influences her transformational work.
Five years ago, Lake Atitlan called her home. The volcanic energy and sacral chakra frequency of this sacred place have become the foundation for her deepest work. She lives here now, deeply connected to the land, the community, and the magic that transforms everyone who arrives.
For Wild Awakening, Renée collaborates with the experienced teachers and facilitators of Eagle's Nest—bringing together embodiment ceremonies, creative expression, and feminine leadership teachings with Eagle's Nest's offerings in yoga, meditation, breathwork, sound healing, and more.

WHY LAKE ATITLAN CALLED ME HOME
Five years ago, I knew there was more to life than what I was living, so I booked a one-way flight to Lake Atitlan, Guatemala. This decision started with a month-long artist residency to expand my transformational lifestyle brand Higher Flow and enhance my skills as a performing artist, human potential development coach, and movement medicine facilitator.
I was in a relationship that didn't feel like a full "fuck yes" and needed to get out. I wanted to fulfill my divine purpose, follow the magic, and inspire others to do the same.
During my journey, I faced many challenges:
Sciatic pain so intense I could barely walk
Anxiety, depression, and a feeling of being a failure
Scarcity mindset that kept me just barely getting by
Giving my energy away to other people's dreams
But Lake Atitlan's magic transformed me. I joined the Temple Body Arts Mystery School with my mentor Sofiah Thom, completing 350 hours of certification and three in-person priestess initiations. I became the first person in the world to teach Temple Body Arts beyond the walls of her retreat center.
Since then, I've created transformational workshops, retreats, and a women's festival called Sovereign that gathered over 300 women. I've performed aerials, dance, and fire at festivals across California, New Mexico, Mexico, and Guatemala.
Now, I live my dream life at Lake Atitlan in my dream home and have manifested a sacred union partnership with the man of my dreams. I'm ready to share this magical place and the transformative practices that changed my life with YOU.

HOW TO GET HERE:
Fly into Guatemala City (GUA), then take a private or shared shuttle (approximately 3-4 hours) to Lake Atitlan. From there, a boat will bring you to San Marcos La Laguna, and a short tuk-tuk ride will take you up to Eagle's Nest. Detailed instructions and support will be provided after registration.

Q: I'm nervous about traveling to Guatemala. Is it safe? A: Lake Atitlan and particularly San Marcos La Laguna is a haven for travelers seeking spiritual growth and natural beauty. I've personally chosen to make this area my home because of its magical energy and welcoming community. We'll provide detailed travel instructions and support to ensure your journey is smooth and safe.
Q: I've never done anything like this before. Will I fit in? A: This retreat is designed for women at all stages of their spiritual and personal development journey. Our sisterhood welcomes you exactly as you are—whether you're just beginning to explore embodiment practices or have been on this path for years. The only prerequisite is an open heart and willingness to transform.
Q: What if I'm not comfortable dancing or expressing myself in front of others? A: This is a judgment-free zone where you're invited to move at your own pace. Many women arrive feeling hesitant about full self-expression and leave feeling liberated and empowered. The supportive container of sisterhood makes it safe to gradually step outside your comfort zone in ways that feel good to you.
Q: Do I need to be in perfect physical shape to participate? A: Not at all! All activities are adaptable to different body types, ages, and physical abilities. This retreat is about connecting with and honoring your body exactly as it is, not achieving some external standard of fitness or flexibility.
Q: What is the refund policy? A: Due to the intimate nature of this retreat and limited spaces available, your deposit is non-refundable but transferable to another woman if you find yourself unable to attend. The full balance is due 30 days before the retreat begins. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance.
Q: I have dietary restrictions. Can these be accommodated? A: Absolutely! We can accommodate vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and most other dietary needs. We will send you a form when you register, and our chefs will ensure you're well-nourished throughout your stay.
